August 24 -- Astoria, Fort Clatsop, Salt Works, Astoria Column, High Tea, travel to Portland ok

We raised our flag at Fort Clatsop and sang our national anthem. The poem itself was not writtten until after Lewis and Clark, but a 42' x 30' flag of the same design, is the Star-Spangled Banner.

Several of our group climbed the 164 steps of the Astoria Column and sailed balsa airplanes. Felicia's went the best.
