Because Lewis and Clark couldn't and we can, we are -- publishing this website to chronicle our adventures in following their trail from St. Charles, MO to the Pacific Ocean. We will be visiting many of the  Corps of Discovery sites and sometimes literally walking in their footsteps. Follow us along day by day, and see the country as we see it. Wherever possible we will try to find scenes that still look like those intrepid explorers saw it. You may also enjoy our Photo Gallery or take a look at trips of the last six years at Other Trips. The trip is about 3100 miles. daily mileage calculated on Delorme's Street Atlas 2007 Plus  ok
