After two days in St.Charles & St. Louis we are ready to hit the road.Today we spent a windy, rainy morning at the Arch and the Museum of Westward Expansion.Lunch was at the Winery of the Little Hills in St.Charles, after which we saw replicas of Lewis and clark's vessellsat the Boathouse and Museum. An evening lecture by Professor Debbie Crank-Lewis of St. Charles Community College on Holy Roman Empire. A very busy and extremely informative day. Tomorrow we head for Independence, MO

Usually I like bright, sunny pictures but I think these two natural black & white are interesting.

Waiting in the security line.
