Jim "Two Crows" Wallen, with our help, demonstrates the life span of a Rocky Mountain Fur Trapper. Seven out of ten lasted less than two years in the mountains.


Mike couldn't set a trap, Jim couldn't blow a horn to warn the camp. Don couldn't start a fire.


Andy's wool capote drowned him when he fell in the river.  Beth cooked bear meat in a lead-lined pot. 


Tom cut himself shaving the skin and got blood poisoning. Mike, however, was successful and lived a long live
 


Keith and Gloria were also successful and lived long lives.
