In the Footsteps of Lewis and Clark
From Illinois to the Pacific
June 19 - July 6, 2016

Day 1, June 19: Orientation

This is the day we meet and greet each other and go over the logistics of the upcoming trip. Lots of questions and answers and I think we have a great bunch of folks. Here's a look at a few of them.

In a short skit, President Jefferson, reads instructions to Lewis, who is dismayed at the amount and detail that Jefferson wants. He asks for an equal ranked co-commander, specifically William Clark. The president reluctlantly gives in. We'll see later how that works out.
